Founded
in 1988, Mr. Michael DiCocco was inspired by his past experience
working in pizzerias and restaurants throughout high school to
create an "Authentic Family Style Restaurant". The variety
of menu items from our signature pizza pies and other delicacies include dinner specials, huge main entrees, delicious
appetizers, specialty salads, and mouthwatering desserts. All
Foods are prepared with top quality ingredients and fresh market
produce. But excellent food and comfortable atmosphere are not
the only reasons why customers come back time after time. It has
everything to do with D'Cocco's whose generous, sincere nature
earned them recognition throughout the community.
A member of several business affiliations, including the
National Restaurant Association and the National Federation of
Independent Businesses (NFIB) for many years, D'Cocco's
volunteer activities stretch into the community and beyond. We
generously provide food donations for fund raisers, and every
week D'Cocco's donates all leftover food to Island Harvest to
Feed The Hungry.
For the past 12 years, D'Cocco's has sponsored an Oceanside
Little League team and also sponsors an Oceanside Girl's
Softball team. We are involved with Oceanside High School's
Model Congress and Scholarship Fund Drive, as well as their Dawn
Delirium program, an after-prom event for graduating seniors at
Oceanside High School. D'Cocco's community service also includes
food donations to many of the local schools and religious
organizations in Oceanside and Island Park; we continuously
donate discount foods for the annual local fund raisers,
including the Oceanside Football Dinner, Oceanside United Soccer
League, and Oceanside Kiwanettes. For our generous food
donations to the gala goods and services auction, an annual
event held by the South Shore Y Jewish Community Center, we
received a Certificate of Appreciation. As a 10 year member of
the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Michael DiCocco has
steadfastly supported this organization through membership, food
donations for events, and by buying one of the banner's that
hang in Oceanside's downtown area.
